Climatest Symor® electronic dry cabinet, is an enclosure with electronic humidity control that automatically maintains low relative humidity (RH) value, the electronic dry cabinet comes in different sizes and shapes, it maintains <5%RH low humidity environment reliably, with precise RH control.
The dry unit is the core of the electronic dry cabinet, it is made by synthetic desiccant, which is self generating, auto-dehumidifying, and maintenance free, this synthetic desiccant lifespan is + 15 years without replacement, there is no cooling drops, no desiccant bags, users just connect it to the power supply, and set RH value, it will automatically proceed dehumidify cycles, absorb and discharge RH intelligently, the whole process is safe and environmental.


What is the calibration time of electronic dry cabinet?

We’ve made strict commissioning before ex-factory, we suggest no need calibration in the first two years, because the high-accuracy RH sensor deviation is +/-2%RH, the long-term drift is <0.25%RH/year, it is original imported from Switzerland; after two years, end users can put a hygrometer inside the electronic dry cabinet, if the deviation still doesn’t exceed +/-3%RH, then no need calibration either, we suggest our customers use ROTRONIC hygrometer, as the precision is super good.

WHAT ARE THE COMMON METHODS TO STORE ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS?

Advantages of electronic dry cabinet


What is the difference between electronic dry cabinet and nitrogen cabinet?

1.Working principle
Electronic dry cabinet uses physical humidity absorbing, the core part is dry unit, the dry unit automatically adjusts the humidity absorbing and exhausting circulation processes, there are different RH ranges for your selection, such as 20-60%RH/10-20%RH/<10%RH/<5%RH/<3%RH, it depends on your specific demands.

Nitrogen cabinet uses N2 gas purge, the N2 gas filled in push the interior air outside, then the RH lower to the setting value, there is a N2 flow-meter, magnetic valve and N2 module equipped on the nitrogen cabinet for control purpose, the humidity is 1-60%RH adjustable, but it needs continuous N2 supply, the cost is high.

2.Dehumidifying speed
The nitrogen cabinet dehumidifying speed is faster than the electronic dry cabinet, when the N2 rush into the cabinet, the interior RH can reach 1%RH within several minutes, however, the electronic dry cabinet have to experience RH absorbing and exhausting processes, it is slower, normally within 10-30 minutes, depending on specific RH range.

3.Application
If the products are just humidity sensitive, electronic dry cabinet is the best choice, if the products are both humidity sensitive and oxygen sensitive, like copper, crystal, silver, then N2 cabinet is better.
